Yarns

Yarn is developed from fabric which has been liberated from the seams of a garment. This liberating process is a migration from 'metric' spaces of categories. The yarn represents the narratives which are told and retold forming identities. The process of cutting and binding yarn facilitates reflection and analysis; introspection. In this performance yarn is traded and shared; the stories we tell one another, the stories of another which can open spaces within, which can confront, which challenge, which reveal parts hidden or undiscovered.
